Adding or editing a Quicksearch button

Quicksearch buttons let you include pre-configured searches of the catalog or links to pages within or outside the Portfolio system.

To add or edit a Quicksearch button

1 Log in to the Admin console.
2 Choose Profiles from the navigation pane.
3 Locate the profile in which you want to add or edit a Quicksearch button, then from the Select menu choose Quicksearch Buttons.
4 Do one of the following:
Choose Add Quicksearch Button.
From an existing Quicksearch button, choose Edit Quicksearch Button.
5 Type or edit the fields as needed. (For more information, see Fields: Add/Edit Quicksearch Button.)
6 Select the button type you want.
7 Select the source of the image or icon you want. The subsequent options depend on the type you select.
8 When you have finished, choose OK.
